Bedtime story

My dad came to visit Gavin on the Saturday night of Northwestern's homecoming game. He got there just in time to eat dinner, help with bathtime and read a story to his grandson! Gavin wanted me to stop take pictures and sit down for storytime, too.

Reading with Grampa from Brian Lynn on Vimeo.

Gavin and Amy and I headed to East Troy, WI to the Mangione's lake house to spend the day with our closest friends and family. The three families (Mangione's, Smalley's and Lynn's) have been strengthening and deepening their friendship for decades. Our dad's grew up together, were in each other's weddings, then had and raised kids together. Now us kids are all grown up and have kids of our own. And we're determined to have them all get along, too! (haha) And to have such a beautiful, fun and safe place to get together as Lake Beulah is pretty awesome.
