FLEMING PROMOTES DICK LYNN TO SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF LABOR RELATIONS

OKLAHOMA CITY, June 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Fleming Companies, Inc.'s (NYSE: FLM) board of directors has promoted Dick Lynn to lead Fleming's labor relations efforts by directing and coordinating all union contract negotiations throughout the company and handling relevant legal matters.

Lynn works with contracts involving more than 20,000 associates, and 55 local and eight international unions. He is also responsible for the Safety and Occupational Health Services staff, and will continue working directly with Executive Vice President of Distribution Steve Davis.

Richard C. Lynn has been named vice president, labor relations of Fleming Companies Inc. Lynn will be responsible for directing and coordinating the labor relations functions for the company and will handle legal matters pertaining to labor. Before joining Fleming, Lynn was with RBH Direct Group in Chicago, an insurance investments firm. . .
